General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Brown discharge in 5th month of pregnancy can be due to
- Causes from inside of uterus- ( placenta previa/ placental separation due to blow, trauma, fall on abdomen, bleeding due to high blood pressure)
- Causes due to infection/inflammation/polyp in vagina or cervix.
Usually cause of discharge is found out by detailed examination/ investigations like sonography, vaginal swab testing.Treatment is decided after the diagnosis.
Your doctor has given you Grbnivion & efaston ( to help maintenance of pregnancy),Spadix to control cramps.
You should take rest along with the medicines & check back with your for need of any antibiotics/ anti trichomonal drugs.
Thanks.
