What Causes Brownish Vaginal Bleeding And Pain In Uterus After Unprotected Sex?

Hello my name is Victoria. Lately I ve been having unprotected sex and just yesterday a brownish discharge came out. Then after that it seemed to be only clear. Today my uterus was hurting really bad and I felt my lower stomach to be a little hard but only for a few minutes. My period isn t due for another 5 days. I m not sure wether or not I should take a home pregnancy test or wait it out. But if I do take one, would it be to soon to tell? If the possible date of conception was as early as this week?

If you are regular with your cycles and are sexually active, you can get the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titers done now to exclude/confirm pregnancy. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after a missed period and not before. The discharge can either be an implantation bleeding or a premenstrual bleed. Hope this helps.
