What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge After Taking Primolut-N?
Had my period on the 22 May 2015. Had unprotected sex around and the 1st or 2nd. Took 5 pregnancy test , last done on the 19th of June but showed negative. I have taken 4 primolut N tablets and on the 21st saw a brownish discharge. Could I be pregnant or is there another possible reason.
Hello I had gone through your question diligently and I can understand your concern very well.
I see patients with similar complaints in my clinic and I will definitely help you as well in best possible way Chances of pregnancy is less likely however I would like to know when did you start primolute N.
Brownish discharge might be related to infection of urogenital tract I would advise you for a battery of tests like vaginal swab culture and an ultrasound to rule out any rare chance of pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy.
You may require a course of antibiotics either oral tablet or vaginal pessaries under supervision of your doctor.
Meanwhile have plenty of fluids which will help by flushing of urogenital tract. Have multivitamin and minerals supplements
Thanks for your question Please feel free to ask for follow up questions or you have any further queries, I will be happy to help you wishing you good health Regards
