What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge During 21 Weeks Pregnancy?

HI, i am on my 21st week of pregnancy and today i am having a brown discharge. this is the first time. is this something o worry about? i am not having pain in my stomach, but i am having insomnia in the last three days, and cant sleep properly. is this somewhat related? please help me understand.

Hi,

If there is only a brownish discharge and no bleeding or water leakage, you need not worry. If you have already started perceiving fetal movements (usually begins by 5th month), just keep watching the number of movements perceived and any progressive increase in discharge.

You have to see your doctor in case the discharge increases, water leaks out, bleeding ensues, abdominal pain or a decreased number of movements perceived than usual.
