Hallow Dear,
Brownish discharge in early
pregnancy is not a good sign.
When the bleeding is brown, it denotes either it is coming late from higher up in the uterus or it is coming from a decaying tissue like embryo(baby).
However,
ultrasonography has indicated that the baby is still viable, though the growth is affected. The baby seems to be in a very vulnerable situation. You will have to take full
bed rest, may be in the hospital. Frequent ultrasonography monitoring of the baby is required. Since the baby is viable, you may be given
Progesterone preparation to support the pregnancy at risk.
If unfortunately during subsequent scans, the baby is found to be non-viable, you may have to get the pregnancy terminated. Let us hope, with timely intervention by Progesterone, your pregnancy continues further.
In addition, please start taking Tablets of
Folic Acid 5 mg daily which will help the growth of the cells of products of conception.
I hope this has guided you properly.
