What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge Post Intercourse?

Hi I am 20 years old and I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend we have been together 3 year and I ve never had a brown discharge. All the sudden we had sex on my period a few times and now two days after my period I m seeing brown discharge and I have no idea or no answers. Could I be pregnant or have an infection?

Hi,
I understood your query.
- Well, sex during periods can not be blammed for brown discharge after periods are over.
- Infection ? ... It is possible in case of bad hygiene management during sex in periods/ one of the partners already has infection, which can flurish after sex in menses.
But infection will rarely cause brown bleeding within 2 days of catching it. The symptoms will be white discharge, itching/burning ,back or lower abdominall pain.
such bleeding can be due to discharge of remenants of normal uterine bleeding after periods,
A vaginal polyp ,fibroid uterus,, cervical irrosion need to be excluded by physical examination/ USG abdomen.
Consult a gynecologist ,to solve your doubt.
