What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge While Having PCOS?
hello, i have PCOS. i use to get periods once in 6 months. i got my period on NOV 2015 and after that starting from AUG 2016 there is brown discharge every month but sometimes i see blood[very less amount and rarely] but i get stomach and back pain as like period. And finally got my period on DEC 27TH 2016[it asted for 6 days] and 3 days after my period,brown discharge again started. what my it could me, i never had brown discharge so much like this before.
The brown discharge you are referring may have different causes. One possibility is of being an infection or as a result of hormone deficiency.
A Pap smear should be done. If results come clear then the discharge is a hormone insufficiency. Taking oral contraception pills may help you. Also if you have an infection you should treat it with antibiotics.
