What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge?

hi doctor.. im having brownish colored vaginal discharge for sometime now.. im 25, very healthy and i dont participate in unprotected sex.. there's no odor in the discharge , jus alittle itchiness.. its constant before and after my periods. i took a pap smear last year as well as stds exams all were negative.. what can my problem be
