What Causes Brownish Vaginal Spotting And Abdominal Cramps?

Since friday I have been having a brown-ish dark red spotting. Then I started cramping and blotting a little bit. It isn t completely horrible, but I did put a tampon in a couple of times with the same discharge coming out. Then earlier when I went to the bathroom I wiped and it was a normal red blood. I also took a pregnancy that was negative. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there.

This could be due to hormonal disorder or vaginal infection. Drink 2 litres of water daily. Get yourself checked for infection by a pelvic exam by your Gynaecologist and swab testing for bacteria or fungi. Avoid sexual intercourse if your vagina feels sore.
