What Causes Bruise And A Lump In The Upper Arm After An Injury?

On saturday, i fell off of a ladder and scraped / bruised the inside of my upper arm. today there is an area of the injury that has a lump under the skin and it feels hot to the touch... i m guessing i should have it checked out? or is this nothing to be concerned about?

This is hematoma under the skin and this is normally seen after such injuries and there is no need for further evaluation unless there is loss of sensation or inability to move arm. Otherwise,you should just apply ice and rest and it will heal.
