Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history : recently had a my first gallbladder attack and have changed my diet accordingly. I have just noticed a bruise approximately 6 x 3 cm around thr' gallbladder area. I have not injured myself. Is this somehow related, or should I ignore and put it down to blood vessels?

The commonest cause is the hot water bag or local fomentation that is applied to ease the pain cause such type of appearance.
If this is not the reason then it means that the infection of the gall bladder was severe enough that even the overlying abdominal wall got inflamed, This indicates that the gall bladder needs to be removed now or after 45 days after a proper treatment.
