What Causes Bruise From Knuckles To Wrist?

31yr old female. Punched a wall several times out of frustration few months back.. Was severely bruised from knuckles to my wrist and outer past of hand. I didn't go for x ray. Now my hand feels weak and is starting to ache. What could this bbe? 5foot tall weighing 8stone.
