What Causes Bruise In Straight Line On Right Leg?

I am a 29 yo female. Complete vag hyst, on hormone replacement, have been out for a month or so. In status migrainosis for 2yrs and on many medications. I have a bruise in a straight line on my r leg, just below my knee. No injuries that I can remember. I have a port in place but other than the heparin in the port, no blood thinners. Do I need to get it checked out? It is soft above and below but hard in the middle. No pain in my calf when walking or flexing my leg. I do have spider veins but the line appears to be in a smaller leg vein.

Hi.
As per your case history of linear rash, my treatment advice is -
1. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice.
2. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and levocetrizine for itching.
3. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
