What Causes Bruise On Right Side Of The Chest While Treating Sinus Infection?

Hi I have a bruised rib the was going away I have a sinus infection and and I see a bruise on my left hand side under my chest bone I put ice on it and the swelling went down some I went to the ER and got a Ex -ray and they it was a contusion it hurts when I cough I also have post nasal drip and right now I have a sinus infection and taking antibiotics for it

Bruise on different body parts while on antibiotic for sinus infection may pause issue of disturbances with underlying coagulation factors of liver or effect on platelets. Kindly consult your doc for such bruises and get basic lab tests of platelet count, bleeding, clotting and activated partial thromboplastin time for precise diagnosis and further care in accordance to lab results.
