What Causes Bruise On The Top Of Wrist?

I have noticed a nickel sized bruise on the top of my wrist. I do not have any loss of ROM in my hand and no weakness. There is pain upon touch and some local swelling. Should I get an x-ray? I don t recall hitting is, but I spent the weekend moving and may had twisted it.

Wound needs a physical examination and if any swelling is there then you can get an X-ray done and consult a physician for further treatment.
