What Causes Bruised Cheek And Eye?

I am a female 65, not on any meds, good blood pressure and blood sugars. For the last month or so I have been tripping sideways to the left. One trip resulted in a fall that was serious enough to give me a bruised cheek and eye. Any ideas what might be going on.

Hi,

This suggests ataxia, which need evaluation to find out the cause. This can happen from dysfunction of our brain, cerebellum or ear. Depending on examination findings, you may be asked for an MRI scanning. The bruise need not be worried- will disappear in few days.
