What Causes Bruises Below Belly Button?
8 years ago I had a radical hysterectomy for endometrial cancer. I ve recently had lower abdomen discomfort, achy and sensitive to the touch in spots. I just noticed a few bruises below my belly button. I realize I need to see my Doctor, but does this sound like something serious?

I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Presence of bruise is suggestive of internal bleeding underneath the skin or subcutaneous tissue. It may or may not be related to your previous cancer history but caution is the word.
Fix an appointment with your treating doctor at the earliest as various diagnostic tests have to be conducted to find out the cause and initiate the treatment. Good luck.
