What Causes Bruising And Pain In Elbow After Giving A Blood Sample?

I had a blood draw 2 weeks ago - it was not painful during the blood draw. Afterwards, there was extensive brusing below the site. Most worrisome, is the inside of my elbow is still weak and achey. It flares painfully if I reach to grab a falling object. I did have an ulstrsound to rule out blood clots.

It may be due to some extravasation of blood from vein after your blood sample taken...
extravasated blood degenerates and causes discolouration of overlying skin... some time pain and itching along with that...
no need to worry for that... if at all it's causing discomfort or pain take simple analgesic like paracetamol once or twice a day...
