My two year old trip and hit between her eyes just above her eyebrows on a cement step, she cried for a bit and had a a good size bump with sum discoloration. the injury did not slow her down and or make her tired, it has now been 3 days and she has been fine but now she has bruising from thecorner of her eyes alongsides of her nose. is this normal or should I have her checked out? her pupils are the same size and there is no change in her eye

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The bruising is normal is such a head trauma. Taking count that she didn't vomited or felt asleep and she is acting normal there is no need for further evaluation. Put ice compresses on her front.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
