What Causes Bruising On Breast Along With Painful Lump?

Hi, a week ago today I feel and the left side of my head and chest/breast took most of the hit. Everything else is getting better but there is a huge bruise on my breast and a lump and severe pain when I breath deep, cough, sneeze or blow my nose. How long till this gets better?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to the fall and the trauma.
I suggest using cold compresses for local application at the bruised area.
I also recommend to use anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
If the symptoms continue ,I suggest to do a chest xray to exclude a rib fracture.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
