What Causes Bruising On The Left Side Of The Rib Cage Area?

Bruising noted on the left side first of rib area,but then has moved to the right side over the past week. No coughing noted, but if I do clear throat or cough there is a twitching and severe sharp pain in my ribs. X-rays have been negative. No fever. I have not injured myself either.

There are many reasons you feel bruising in the left side of the cage area like costochondritis, pancreatitis. Kidney stone, heart pericarditis etc., I think you should do a blood test, abdominal ultrasound electrocardiogram first and consult with your doctor.
