What Causes Bruising On The Leg After A Fall?

i went to a party and i fell and when i got back up i could barely feel my leg i can walk but its like i normally do i went to doctore they gave me steroid shot and inflamortory pill its been about two days now since i look at the back of my leg its all bruised what happened did the string pop

I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
All the symptoms you have mentioned suggest that you may possibly having sprain in your feet.
It is not at all serious and complete cure is possible.You don't need to worry much regarding this.
You can do the following as a first line management:
1.Rest the affected area and avoid all heavy physical activities.
2.Apply ice packs over affected area it will provide symptomatic relief.
3.You can take analgesics like ibuprofen or diclofenac for pain.
4.Counter irritant creams can be applied for pain and muscle spasm.
If pain and swelling persist despite all these kindly consult an orthopedician and in that case you may need a MRI scan to rule out tendon injury.
