What Causes Bubble Feeling In Throat While Eating?

I have an occasional problem and I can t figure out why it happens. Doesn t happen consistently. I ll sit down to dinner, take 1 or 2 bites and then suddenly, it feels like there is a bubble in my throat and I can t swallow (not even my saliva). Sometimes it only lasts a few minutes, sometimes an hour or more. Any ideas?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux. Better to have an examination with ENT specialist to rule out this. If laryngopharyngeal reflux taking proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole and motility enhancers like domperidone for 4 weeks will be helpful. Taking vitamin C daily will be helpful to heal anysore aarea on esophagus and throat faster also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
