What Causes Bubble In Vein After Abdominal Cat Scan?
I had an adominal cat scan about a month ago. The tech put something in my veins. I thought it was put in my arm vein, but I have a bubble on my vein in my hand. It does not hurt or anything, but it hasn't gone away after 4 weeks. Do you have any ideas what it is?
Respected Sir, hi it seems thrombophlebitis most probably due to the dye which was injected through your vein for performing the contrast CT Scan of the abdomen. though it`s not hurting you have to apply ice for 3-4 times a day along with Hirudoid or Thrombophobe ointment gentle application to get it clear. As this is a prescribed medicine content you have to get it prescribed with your family doctor dear thanks regards hope for your best and speedy recovery.
