What Causes Bubbling Sensation Behind The Knees?

I have a strange bubbling or fluttering feeling in the back of my knee area like I can feel the blood running through the vein that only last for a few seconds but might happen 2 or 3 times and then the next day the back of my knee is kindof sore. Can you tell me what this is? I ve found some post online of other people experiencing the same thing but no answers.

It could be due to early stages of bursitis. If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
