What Causes Bubbling Sensation In The Groin Area?

I keep feeling like bubbling in an area of my groin, near or at a spot where a stint like thing was inserted in my leg to go up into my heart years ago. It seems to be in time with my heart beat, but feels like bubbles moving past something and I have a slight pain sensation there when I press. Just about in the crease of where my leg meets my torso. I can t really tell if maybe it s some nerve or in an artery. But it does seem to be regular like my heart beat. Could this be a clot?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the issue of bubbling sensation in the groin where legs meet torso indicate possible development of inguinal hernia most likely.
* Kindly get an examination with consultant surgeon in this regard who may guide you for the need of soft tissue ultrasound to evaluate possible underlying tissue defect if it is there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
