Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i woke up a couple of mornings ago with what i thought looked like bug bites at the top of my buttocks area. they actually look like mosquito bites to me maybe four. now i have something else going on farther down and almost into the crack it looks the same like bug bites but they seem to be in a line and they hurt. i don t know if i am itching them in my sleep but this doesn t seem normal. i have never had anything like this before and if its bed bugs why am i the only one with the bites?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bug bite like scars on the buttocks which seems to be due to body reaction or kind of allergic reaction.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination without any delay. Doctor may give adrenaline shot or prescribe antihistamine medications. For now take benadryl and apply cold compresses to affected area , which relieved swelling and itchiness. Stay at cool places.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
