What Causes Bug Bite Sized Bumps Underneath The Buttocks?

I ve got quite a few bug bite size bumps right underneath my butt cheeks. They itch from time to time. I assumed they were ingrown hair or pimples, and I ve tried to pop one or two of them, but when I do, they bleed. A LOT. They won t go away, and I can t figure out what they are. I ve tried looking online for an solutions or what they might be and can t seem to find anything. Any ideas?

As per your complain it seems that bug bite like bumps over the butt cheeks along with intermittent itching seems to be most probably due to causes like allergic reaction to any food or medication, contact dermatitis caused due to contact with any allergen like poison ivy, leather, latex, skin cosmetic, hair follicle infection or Folliculitis, mite infestation causing Scabies, herpes virus incfection causing cold sores etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case of allergic reaction anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Allegra can be advised..
Topical steroid ointment, cool compresses and calamine lotion can relieve..
In case of Folliculitis topical antibiotic and steroid ointments and oral antibiotics can be advised..
In case of scabies oral intake of Ivermectin and topical Prethermin lotion can help..
In case of viral infection oral and topical antiviral medications like Acyclovir can help..
