What Causes Bulging Eyes Post Total Thyroidectomy?
I received a total thyroidectomy in July and still suffer from bulging eyes, although they are much better than they were, my eyes are still swollen and look as if I m staring all the time. I take Calcium and a Thyroid Hormone daily. How long will it take for my eyes to return to normal? I look terrible.

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that hyperthyroidism causes bulging of eyes and after taking treatment bulging can reduce but doesn’t go completely.
