What Causes Bump Above Right Ear Of Child?

My baby was sleep and feel from my arms. She s okay. Cried a little and went back to sleep. Tried waking her and she awoke and went back to sleep. She has a little bump on her head above the ear on the right hand side I guess the precenteral area. What should I do ?

Hello

Small swelling over ear may be an enlarged lymph node.
It is a common site of draining lymph nodes and lymph nodes may enlarge if there is infection,dandruff etc in scalp.
This is generally a benign finding and it may reverse with treatment of underlying cause.
This is not a serious finding.You should consult pediatrician for proper evaluation.
