What Causes Bump In Place Of IV Injection?

I had my surgery for absciss on 7th July,2014 And so I had iv injected for glucose in my left hand. But still a tiny bump is present in my hand.I am worried that why is it not going. It s size obviously has decreased a lot. But still it has been more than 2 months. Any advice??

Probably you have developed an abscess at injection site.
Improper injection may lead to development of abscess.
