What Causes Bump Near Tragus With Soreness ?

I have a small bump under the skin just outside the tragus of my left ear. It s sore to apply pressure too like a boil but hasn t come to a head like one and I ve had it for more than a week now. I also had a spot on the meatus part of my ear and it came to a head like a boil and erupted itself but not loads of white stuff came out of it. The lump also pulses when I touch it. My inner ear also feels heavy and I have slight headache. I have also had spots but not big ones behind the ear and in a line down below my ear lobe vertical from the tragus. They disappeared on their own.

Hi,
looking to the history it seems that you are having bacterial infection in your external ear producing boil and heaviness in the ear.
This infection gave rise enlarged pre-auricular lymph node.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days.
Clean the ear with q-tip gently and put antibiotic ear drops.
After infection subsided, this lymph node will be normal.
Ok and take care.
