What Causes Bump On Face And Numbness In Nose?

I have a bump/bite mark on my face, and now my nose feels slightly numb on one side and it aches. I first noticed this symptom 2 nights ago but I m still feeling residual numbness and aching. The only thing I can liken it to is local dental anesthesia plus aching. Also, in the middle of the bump, there s a tiny hole... What do you think I was bitten by? What course of action would you suggest that I take?

Hello,

It would be of great help if you have attached a picture of your bump. This could be due to local inflammation and allergic reaction to bite. I suggest you to first visit your doctor for detailed check up and testing if needed. You can take OTC analgesics and anti histamines for symptomatic relief for the time being even local ice packs would be beneficial.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
