What Causes Bump On Toe After An Injury?

About a month and a half ago I dropped a 4" tile on my toe. It hurt but never turned black or really bruised. Now, after wearing high heels I have a red bump on the top of that toe. It isn't extremely painful, but it does hurt and it has kind of an itchy sensation. This has been for a little over a week. Could this be from when I dropped the tile on my foot?
