What Causes Bump On Trapezium Bone After Hitting?

I hit my right hand on the corner of a table over a month ago. I didn't think much of it, but I have recently noticed that there is still a bump in the area of my trapezium or trapezoid and that I have trouble grasping things. Should I be concerned? Did I possibly overlook a break?
