What Causes Bumps And Redness On Cheek And Behind Ear?

This morning I woke up to bumps (pimple bumps) and redness on my cheek and behind my ear. It does not itch at all, it just stings. I am not allergic to anything and I have not eaten, taken, or done anything new in the past days or weeks. There was no sign of redness or bumps yesterday before I went to bed. What could this be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having insect bite dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
