I have noticed tiny skinny skin colored bumps on my genital area. they are not on the vagina but in the area between it and my anus. they do not hurt or itch. when i mess with them for to long they begin to bleed. im worried about what this may be. could it be something serious?
Skin coloured bumps may be due to skin tags, piles or genital warts. Skin tags do not usually cause any symptoms. Hemorrhoids or piles can also be presented externally and appear like skin like flesh. The enlarged veins can be present inside and cause bleeding. Another important cause is genital warts. This is caused by a viral infection called HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) and is usually a sexually transmitted infection. Avoid pinching the bump since it can spread the infection.
Genital warts can be removed by non invasive measures like cryotherapy. I would suggest you to visit your doctor for a clinical examination and confirmation of diagnosis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
