What Causes Bumps In Throat And Bruxism?

Hi, I got my tooth pulled on Monday and today is now Friday. It was my back molar that was pulled. If I had wisdom teeth it would be the third tooth in. When I went to the dentist I had an abscess above the tooth. (Which he said was pretty big and it is still there as I type this) The tooth came out fairly easy and the dentist put in some sutures on the side near my other tooth because there was a small flap hanging, he also dug at my bone because he said my bone was sick and that he needed to get some of it off. (HE did put me on penicillin) And now there is a big hole there and to me it seems half of it is healing and the other half is not. Half has a big hole still and the other half does not. When I look in the hole I see a dark redish area way up in the hole. I am assuming this is the blood clot. But it seems so far up in the hole that I worry about dry socket because Ive seen people with it before and I have a huge fear of dry socket. Also on Wednesday I noticed some hives on my cheek where the tooth was pulled. The doctor said to take some Benadryl when I called so I did and the hives went away. Well now it is Friday and last night I noticed red bumps on my throat. This time I went into the doctors office to get looked at because I had a fear that maybe my body built up a resistance to the antibiotic because I have been on them about 5 or 6 times in the past year. They checked me for strep throat and for mono. I was negative for both. They also ran blood tests on me and he said my blood work looked really good so he said all of these bumps in my throat are because of the tooth infection. He told me to keep taking the antibiotics and get some rest and I will feel better soon. So anyway here I sit wondering was the doctor right or was he just in a hurry because he really didn t give me any information at all. The doctor himself did not touch me at all and the nurse did everything without him even being present. I have never had this happen before but my doctor wasn t in today so I had to see someone I don t know. So if you could please tell me is it normal for me to have these red/burning bumps in my throat because of the infection? And will they really go away without switching my antibiotic? To me it seems strange that bacteria would grow when I am on penicillin. I have 4 more days on the antibiotic. He put me on it for one week. 500 mg 4 times a day. And also should I have a fear of dry socket since I am still in pain and that hole is so big after a few days? My pain in the area where the tooth was pulled is not bad but its there. Its more annoying than anything and when I take ibuprofen it seems to help the pain and it goes from mild to no pain at all. The pain is not constant its like an off and on burning feeling. And it doesn t hurt anything like it did before it was pulled or the day after it was pulled. But I am worried because Ive heard people say the pain should be better by now because it was pulled on Monday and its now Friday. Oh yeah by the way I also have bruxism and I have not gotten help for it yet as he wants to fix these other problems first. I recently switched dentists because I believe the other dentist was the start of all of my problems. He threw my bite off really bad and would not even try to fix it when I asked. Also did two root canal teeth that my dentist now said will probably need to be pulled eventually because he missed a canal in them. One of them is right next to the tooth the dentist just pulled. He said he doesn t see the need in pulling them yet and said I will know when they need to be pulled because they will start to hurt. Sorry about the long description.
