Hi, I am 34 year old female, 5ft, 6in, and weight 132lbs. I recently felt on my lower left abdomen 2 small lumps. They are kinda of oval long. I do have bruising and it hurts slightly. The lumps are not deep. They are fairly on top close to my skin. i also have one on my labial (vagina) and does not hurt. They kind of feel like the ones in my growing. Except the ones in my growing don t hurt. Never had this before. Is this something to worry about.
Hello, Thanks for the query. yo might have developed Folliculitis. Folliculitis is a bacterial infections. Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests. Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis. Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given. Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance. Let me know if you have any other doubt. you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link. http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-rahul-kumar/64818 Wishing you a good health.
