What Causes Bumps On Lower Bikini Line?

I have bumps on my lower bikini line and two on my labia Majora. They look like bug bites. I had started itching and thought it was a yeast infection and then these bumps showed up. They are not open sores. They are just raised bumps and looks like mosquito bites. I went to a walk in clinic and the dr tested me for herpes, but said she was pretty sure it was not herpes. She didn t know what it was and told me to put hydrocortisone on it. The bumps still itch some but they are sore feeling now from scratching at them. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms can be related to ingrown hairs in the bikini line.
I suggest to use aloe vera or a steroid cream to soothe irritated skin.
I also suggest using Cetirizine 10 mg daily to relieve the itching.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
