What Causes Bumps On Shaft Of Penis After An Unprotected Sex?
Hello, I ive had these small kind of seed sized bumps on the shaft of my penis for about 4-5 months the exact same bumps, they havent bust open or anything. Before hand i did however have unprotected sex and I just want to know can that sound like herpes to you?
I would keep a possibility of Molluscum contagiosum rather than herpes genitalis. The lesions of molluscum are long standing, asymptomatic, pearly white, dome shaped, firm papules with a central indentation. Herpes however presents as painful grouped ersions and it is unlikely that herpes would produce bumps lasting for 4-5 months without any symptoms.
However, I would suggest that you see a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis. The appearance of molluscum is sufficiently characteristic to be diagnosed clinically.
