What Causes Bumps On The Lower Leg After Injury?

Hi, I hit my shin 3 months ago and had a mild abrasion and major bruising/pain. It still is discolored and has developed tiny bumps around the area that itch. Should I be concerned or is this normal? The bumps are just where the injury was. Thank you.

Hi,

That is just scar tissue and it is a normal way of healing.
You can apply some moisturizer or coconut oil to reduce the itch. You can take antihistaminics like levocetirizine but an itching would make it infected.
Neither you should be concerned nor you should worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
