I was seen in our local er on 11/01/17 with air under my skin around my neck , jaws, and upper chest.A chest x-ray was done. No dx. was given. The er doctor called other physician and no one could come up with Dx. I did’t have any heavy coughing prior to this . I woke up Wednesday am looking like a mega case of mumps. It cracked with pressure and when I eat I can hear it crackle in my ears.

Hello,

As per your case history, you are suffering from Allergic Dermatitis.

My treatment advice is:
1. Do not squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
