Hello,

Bumps on the penis & penis shaft is commonly due to STD's, eg. genital warts & syphilis.

You are suggested to get physically examined. Get all STD tests done. If your tests are positive you will need antibiotics & antivirals.

In the meantime, avoid sex for a couple of days. Stay away from anal /oral sex.

Get properly treated, genital bumps generally go away in weeks. But, when neglected the entire groin area can be affected with genital wart outbreak can be continuous.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
