What Causes Burning And Pain In Stomach After Diagnosed With Anxiety?

my stomachs been burning and in pain for 6 months. ive been on omperezole for most of that time and it helps, but doesn't fix it. sometimes when its bad I get a leaping feeling in my stomach too, and it started happening after I developed anxiety. I have a history of drug abuse, mostly with MDMA but I haven't done that stuff in well over 2 years and am also not drinking. I haven't been able to get much of an answer from any of the doctors ive visited, any ideas? also diagnosed with ulcers by one doctor and told that was rubbish by another.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Anxiety and stress increase gastritis. Same may be in your case. I would be better if you consult with a psychiatrist. I think, you need some antidepressant that would help you to keep calm and decrease the underline anxiety. You can also try some relaxation technique.

Thanks
