What Causes Burning And Stinging Sensation In Foot?
Something bit me last night on my foot. I was outside in my grass. At first it felt like a burning sensation, then a stinging sensation. It lasted about 2 mins. There was 2 small puncture holes, and I pulled something out one of them. It swelled up very small around the puncture holes. Then swelling went down, and pain went away. Now today it has swollen at least 3-4 times the size it was last night. And it s very itchy, and no burning or stinging sensation. I m a little worried, and wondering if I sold see a doctor?
Your symptoms suggest insect bite or a bee sting.Immediate treatment with antihistamines and steroids is essential to reduce swelling, pain and itching.
Watch for symptoms of throat pain, difficulty in swallowing, facial or lip swelling and breathing difficulty which could represent Anaphylaxis (Severe form of allergic reaction) and requires immediate treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
