What Causes Burning Arms Pain?

I have had a burning in both arms now for awhile. The pain feels like it sometimes goes down to the bone. My doctor just took me off of Zocor about a week and a half ago. Thought maybe that was causeing me problems. Is that possible? If so, how long will I feel the effects of Zocor in my system?
