What Causes Burning Feeling While Urinating And Vaginal Discharge?
I had a pap smear last year and came back normal. I only have 1 partner and I have been having burning when I urinate. I got treated with Cipro, appeared to be yeast infection. I used monistat, then the pill form from the doctor. It's been about 6 months. I am having vaginal discharge (not smelly), pain, irritation, it burns my skin when I sit in the bath,. use soap, or urinate. I switched to a sensitive soap and did not help. Now in the last few days I have started to get boils on my vulva and labia. I have been goggling and am really worried.
Hello, The best way for the treatment is to get the proper diagnosis. To know the type of infection,it would be best on your part to get your vaginal dischrge tested microscopically. This would tell the exact cause of infection. Many a times trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections and gonorrhoea start mimicking each other. Also get your urine tested tor the infection. Stop using scented soaps and douching. Use cotton undergarments. Once the cause of infection is known, you can be easily treated by appropriate medications. Thanks
