Eye strain,
dry eye, allergens, chemicals, fumes, cosmetics, infection, lack of sleep, increased eye pressure, medications, prolonged sun exposuremay all cause burning eyes.
Inappropriate corrective lenses (too much /too less refractive power) can lead to eye strain.
I advise you to see your ophthalmologist and physician to rule out the above causes and change of glasses, if required. You may want to enquire about photochromatic lenses (prescription glasses that shield your eye from sunlight)
I strongly discourage you from driving until you have proper vision without symptoms
In the meantime, jot down the possible external factors that may be irritating your eye and try eliminating one by one. Start with anything new /recent you have added to your personal care products.
Stay hydrated and do not self medicate.
