Hi, I have been taking benefiber for about 1 year now. I was told by my GI doc that it would help my bloating and cronic constipation. It did help for awhile, but since I had a endocope in January I have burning in my throat. Does not feel like indigestion, but my doc says it is. I take protoxix in the morning followed by tums when needed or gaviscon then pepsid before dinner and one at bed time. I notice that certain days are worse. Do you think its from any of the things I m taking?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Indigestion is one of the common causes of of throat pain. I see that you have already taken the proper medication to treat indigestion so I suggest to continue the treatment as consulted by your doctor. I also recommend to avoid food that can trigger the symptoms such as spicy food or too much caffeine. Gargling with salt water canals also help in relieving the symptoms.
Hope my answer was helpful.
